Deep Dish is coming.

The pioneering house music duo, Deep Dish, made up of Ali "Dubfire" Shirazinia and Sharam Tayebi (simply known as Sharam), are on the verge of getting back together. Similarly to OutKast, this resurrection of the DJ duo has been long-awaited among loyal members of the dance music community.

In 2006, Deep Dish split to pursue solo careers after years remixing tunes as a tag-team for superstars such as Cher, Madonna and Janet Jackson, to name a few; they even snagged a Grammy for Best Remixed Recording for their edit of Dido's "Thank You." After months (and in some circles, years) of speculation and rumors, today a clock counting down has appeared on DeepDish.com.

While Deep Dish is keeping this mysterious countdown under wraps for now, one thing is clear, the eight-year wait for Deep Dish to emerge as a duo once again is near.

Stay tuned...

redux chemistry?

this will be interesting. They play way different now. Dubfire; as we all know, is the ing bomb. Never seen Sharam live, but I've heard about 30 mins of one of his sets, and tbh, it sounded like . so we'll see how this is gonna work out.

i hope it will be more than just one show and not a gimmick.

I'm pumped! Hoping they do a full on tour. DC's best are back!
This article thinks the countdown timer coinciding with Ultra, which does nothing for me.

i hate to sound so negative but i just dont really see it working
first off both their styles are totally dif these days

and now there is just soooooo much hype, espcially now with this new confirmation. i just dont think they will live up to it

we will see tho

^^

not to forget the FOMO jump-on-bandwagon people, who'll be making tickets purchase a pita, let alone the sardine can in the venues.

but, it would be interesting to be there, either for the great sound, or the epic fail
:)

oh and , yeah, ditto skeptic, haven't heard any Sharam that did much for me... (and so, limited exposure tbh.)

I think Sharam has been pushing for this reunion ever since he saw how good dubfire's solo career was!
