Yeah... Up until recently, I was only familiar with the cut that I had posted. Then I was at a friends spot for a sort of after-after party where DJ BAS of TA-Fame was spinning records (this friend has a dope vinyl collection and a nice set up in his loft...) and, as the night wound down and Bas got too tired from not doing drugs with us, a friend and I started digging for records. I found these two driftwood records and recognized the label art so asked him which tracks were best..instantly my infatuation with Drain Pipe blossomed into a full fledged love of all things driftwood.

I figure that if that Soul Capsule record got repressed, there must be hope for the driftwood stuff - though I don't know anything about the politics of it all, or about the timewriter's philosophy on it.

That Kerri Chandler track is DOPE ^^

ah can we just post Driftwood tracks now?

Of course if you haven't listened to this, you must:

Lucky I was able to find select Driftwood tracks digitally (not to mention Ganja Mist Part 1 under the Fonka Delix alias which is also excellent) and a few high quality rips more recently.

If you like the Driftwood stuff I also recommend Soda Inc. and Ronin's album which is available digitally.

(I think I prefer the Vocal Mix although Adam might try and kill me for saying that :p)

First heard this in of those legendary John Osborn Panoramabar mixes. Love this track soooo much, easily one of the best house tracks of the past five years.
