Nah 7 years actually. My previous accounts were darkarbiter, inner reflection and lostpsyte. Lost my password for the second last account and was sick of the name of my first and last account. I realise however that some people have dedicated their lives to studying the nou and I do not possess such grand knowledge.

I was banned for 2 weeks because of censor bypassing the c word which everyone does but swamper was feeling spiteful that day apparently. That's not why I'm on an "alt". I see the concept of new main doesn't exist for you. |

Lol, for a forum that's apparently "dead", this thread has more responses in 24hours, than most other non music forums I'm a member of get in a week.
Sure, there's not a torrent of endless signups, and it's not exactly 2001 around here in terms of energy, but in the grand scheme of things, this place is pretty damn strong.
I know more people abandoning facebook and twitter than than leaving their forums.

TA still gets a lot of traffic but it took a major hit last July when Topple Track submitted this DMCA complaint to Google with just 'tranceaddict.com' as the infringing URL - which is BULL. They claimed some album called 'Canada Loves EDM' was up here (which it never was) and besides even if someone linked to it in a thread they're supposed to link to that specific thread not the entire site. I've been waiting on Google forever to be re-instated which is more annoying than I have words for.
Topple Track's response to this was: "Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We currently have your site marked as a 'good site' and haven't sent requests since 11/4/2013." :rolleyes: |
