NYC Locals at Ezoo? (pg. 2)

Yes! I even had people write to me stating i should remove "NYC". No...this petition is FOR NYC. Thats the entire point! hahaha (Plus, lets be logical here, the US as a whole has a ton of DJs, so that would not work)
HOWEVER, once we make a valid point, work together and suceed on NYC locals, i see no reason not to have chapters that can try this too "Cali" "Chicago" whoever wants to see their artists there. Or even help them to do this with THEIR local festivals. Well probably learn some useful tips, so im HAPPY to share with anyone who is interested. (Assuming this gets as big as my daydreams show it....LMAO!! im getting ahead of myself)

Another...YES! I see this as being a small out of the way tent- lets not fool ourselves here...EZOO is probably 90% organized, DJs picked, tents places, yadda yadda (or at least theyll SAY it is) So, throw up a small no frills tent like sunday school used to be- remember the first year? Corner tent, folding table, and a bus LMAO

So far I have a list (partially artists I love and know, and partially requests from the 60 some odd people who have already msg me) and that lists is about 20 deep. Some names i dont know, but (eh hem) im more a trance lover, so i know the proggy trance artists here.
I plan on supplying anyone with a list who asks (as it becomes more organized) as well as, if possible, supplying anyone (promoter/Made Event) with press/pr materials necessary to prove that the suggested artists are legit and a proper fit for a public festival.
I already know a lot of points any sane business person will make, but the good part is that I see no reason for that to hinder this. As long as we all work together, any hurdle can be cleared- assuming Made/EZOO are willing to hear us (is it proper to call them Made, arent the SFX? Or did SFX buy and they are still an entity "Made Event"?) |

I hope it happens but I doubt it. They aren’t going to bring artists that don’t draw at least a few thousand people. The closest you are going to get to local talent will be a headliner like Adam X possibly, but I doubt they will bring him.
If you want to hear some good local talent from all electronic genre’s Rob Gee is throwing a party on May 16th called Night Energee at Studio 48 in the city which will have tons of local talent. Main room is going to be Neophyte, Tieum, Rob Gee and some other hardcore/hardstyle artists, the 2 other rooms are going to be all mixed genre local talent. House, Jungle, DNB, Hardcore, Hardstyle.. pretty much everything. |

yeah, my faith is low too.....im hoping for some surprise hahahah
As far as seeing the locals....we all know we can do that....its not that we cant go out on the regular and find them (for the most part)
Im specifically speaking to this event. I feel as though, they use our soil, they should use our artists. |

hopefully someday Made Event will too :) (or, i guess, share their logistics as to why its not feasible....ill take that, as long as it all makes sense and as long as, if we have ideas to help it happen, they listen and take into consideration....)

No prob, was just messing around. 2009, first year. They wanted to put me at the top of the flyer but I asked them if they could put me dead last at the bottom instead. Figured it might have had more of an impact, clearly i was wrong :)
