There is absolutely no chance of this ever happening, but it would be nice to see a group like Above, who already has done countless what we'll call "yearly anniversary radio show parties" do a classics only set. I remember a few years back Armin did this at his ASOT event in Den Bosch and there were so much excitement for the set that the DJs at the other stages actually left to go watch/listen. Literally left.

Why not make one of these yearly events different. Something people will actually leave buzzing about--talking about for some time to come. The dudes obviously have the fanfare if they are playing at MSG, so doing something outside the norm would just add to their mystique. I dont know about you all, but I have always enjoyed classic anjuna productions. You go back a number of years and they have some absolutely stellar stellar songs that I continue to throw on to this day.

I am just so tired of all the bull rinse and repeat "we reached a big milestone number in our podcast, let's celebrate" events. Enough is enough already.. Only my two cents.. Probably a better chance of Tiesto coming back to trance then this happening though :p:p

^^^^

Unlike Armin, or def. Tiesto, or any of the other used-to-be-good names we like to piss on here, A&B could actually do this and not upset or bewilder a lot of their attendees, because a lot of that comes from the jamtronica crowd, and that crowd is more open to it than the typical yolo.
just my $0.02

might consider this, despite all the drawbacks, certainly depends on price, the general event deets,...

agreed there...any idea of the layout @msg ? is it all on the dance floor, or is there concert type seating ?
Scoops
sorry but most of these DJs don't even deserve to be playing MSG

Hey for Group Therapy 50, they brought in Guy J & Andrew Bayer, pretty damn solid. At this point in time probably better than the main act!

In regards to the layout there is a giant GA floor and then they fill out the rest of the seats as they would at a normal game/concert. Anything other than the floor is pretty rough

i dont think any of these guys should be "djing" at an arena
unless you are doing a live act with all musicians and incorporating alot of other elements into it then thats what makes it cool

yea tiesto started it back in the day with his concert. but by the second year he was starting to add more "shows" into it. just takes away from the music. today these big dj's just show up and play their hits, have singers and dancers come out and have huge huge productions and lighting.

not my thing at all

These guys suck.
