^ HAHAHA well........ on the contrary i think throwing in some acid here and there is good as the pH level lowers a tad and things aren't so bitter. i prefer things a little sour (i.e. lemonade). i also wanted to take that tune sign and dance like a fool to that song !!!!!! it stood out for me, but i can see how the majority wouldn't enjoy it as much 3. on a side note i think the sound sounded a little distorted at times ?
and mano did kill it. was he playing some rodhad tracks or recondite tracks and stuff related to dystopian or were my ears playing tricks on me ? |

| Acid in any setting on the planet Earth and in the galaxy and beyond is amazing and I will dance my ass off to it always and forever. |

Full support for acid. 100% yes, all day all day.
Got sloppy as hell toward the end there, as usual. Gorgeous time with gorgeous peeps! Can't wait for Henrik and Dixon on Canada Day! :D |

Sven killed it. More details later.
Any review of the afterparty? |

The guy before Sven had no flow.
Sven came on and pumped it right up. The sound wasn't tuned properly for the first half of Sven's set. But once they got it, man did it sound good.
Absolutely loved his set, danced my ass off. |

Overall I had a great time. Large line up to get in but it went by fast.
Sound was shotty at first but after 8pm or so it got a lot better once Sven got on. He killed it, and had fun dancing while still feeling a bit chilly.
One gripe I had was the washrooms. For some reason the lineup was retarded which doesn't make any sense because last year it was separate from the party grounds. Once incorporated it was massive, especially for the girls (so I heard). Not sure why this was... unless there were way more people there which looks like a larger crowd than last years parties.
I think the organizers did a great job from last year and looks like they got it down to a science. All bounds were fenced off and all stands were pretty identifiable. The large balloon night lights were a nice touch for after 8pm.
More washrooms is possible I guess.... I didn't check out the VIP areas because I didn't bother to walk around this time. I heard the food truck line up was horrid though.
Oh well, great time and will once again be back for Canada Day. Great party with friends and Sven seriously delivered. |

Although the sound situation kind of sucked until 9, Sven Vath absolutely destroyed the Island in the last 90 minutes of his set. Definitely the best set I've heard in the Electric Island series so far. He showed Toronto why he is truly a master at his craft. It was worth the wait after so many years.
Shout outs to Jamie Kidd as well who played better than either Daniel Avery or Mano Le Tough in my opinion.
Also, who ever Sven's manager was who played at the Coda after party was brilliant. I was very impressed.
What a great time!
Lastly, no complaints from Knobbie Q yet? Are you feeling ok bro? |
