Meh to Circoloco being at Ezoo..

I really enjoyed that Verboten Circoloco 2 summers ago I think it was.

Just realized it could not be Circoloco Takeover but just Apollonia b2b2b set

Interested in seeing the prices, if a weekend pass is as cheap as 1st release in EDC New Mexico, i would def be down

If I were going to this I'd be afraid it would get shut down again and lose my money. dat.

Oh, I didn't even go, and I guess I was talking without knowing. Had no idea they refunded folks. Still even with a refund I would be pretty pissed if it were canceled while I was there. I remember how mad I was when EDC didn't foresee those strong winds at Vegas a few years ago. I lived in the Mojave desert area back in the mid-90's and that happened all the time. :(

unless their prices revert to 2011 levels, it.
last year, at 320 for the super early bird tix, was a rip.

I was glad to get my 1/3 back, even if of course disappointed about the cancellation.

But in practice, Zoo every year has meant 5PM or later starts (work keeping my away from earlier on Fri, afterparties and sleep/ travel time there the other days), so for those 3x 5 hours of short sets, this just ain't no value proposition.

Besides, there were so many good AP's some with an early enough start, who needs it?
Like the momaPS1 thing with Green Velvet.

So, I will be glad to save my money this time.
(could I sucker myself into a single day, if the line-up is there for it? prob., but what were those, like 180 last time?)

This festival just isn't fun any more. Cramped tents, annoying crowd. End of story.

If you're looking for an alternative, there's a 4 day open air psy camping festival (Respect Gatherings presents: GOA CONNECTION) that's going to be in upstate New York somewhere the same weekend. I bought my pre-sale ticket for ~$100. Can't beat that price especially if you have an interest in psy and considering psy gets no representation at any festivals (Simon Patterson doesn't count). Seems like a mini OZORA or BOOM festival.

They've been having a bunch of events these past couple years all around the east coast. Unfortunately, I only was able to make it to one due to their uncanny knack of scheduling all of their events on my weekend on shifts. The one event I did catch was Prometheus and Younger Brother at SRB Brooklyn back in October and their production quality is very good.
