I checked on discogs about them and there isn't thread on the duo on here that I know of, if a thread exist about them I don't mind deleting this one.

They had great remixes and releases, check em out here.

Who here still remembers them?

a burning question, for sure.

hiver & hammer... one of the few dance acts who totally uninspired.

ferry's catch remix just shows them up.

I think they were cool back in the day. Their kicks were unique and there structures had a alot of groove and rhythm imo.

I haven't listened to it in a long time. After playing it i think its good for its time. Nobody sounded like them when it came out. Not saying they are the best but the remix is subjective to taste.

Hiver's MIA but Hammer's recently done a track with York, though I'm not exactly sure what his role was on that one. They've got some really great remixes to their name...

Underrated producers, they made alot of great remixes (yes, i like the Nothing remix)

This is my favorite

Thats awsome guys, really liking the ligaya remix.
Paradox Lost
I don't think I ever enjoyed anything the two have done together as an act, but I do remember enjoying Hammer's other occasional collaborations with Funabashi, or with Andrew Bennett. Guess that makes me a Hammer fan?

i enjoyed a number of their works and remixes like
4 strings - diving (hiver & hammer's different gear mix)
lasgo - alone (hiver & hammer instrumental)
madelyne - beautiful child (hiver & hammer remix) (although i would like it more without the vocal)
5 million miles (different gear mix) (same thing here with the vocal)
faithless - crazy english summer (hiver & hammer remix)
armin van buuren - yet another day (hiver & hammer's ground control mix)

mind you that i have re-edited the lasgo & armin remixes for my personal use to reduce the breakdown and vocals. since this is what normally bugged me with their productions, they always had great grooves and driving rhythms but it would just stop dead for a breakdown.

I bought their album 'Substance' on 2x vinyl back in 2004, not great tbh but it has my fav track by them on it which is 'Fusion'.
it was remixed in 2006 by various artists on the Label Somatic Sense, check it out if u haven't already as there are some great remixes but for me the original from the album is special.

also 'armin van buuren - yet another day (hiver & hammer's ground control mix)' is great too.

I grew up on these guys. whenever I think of Hiver & Hammer, I think of Hemstock & Jennings also. No idea why.
