The TV show is actually better than the books. Martin has some good ideas, but he's written himself into a lot of holes. We'll see if he gets out in the long run, but, overall, the show is able to smooth over a lot of his mistakes.
It's rather cool that a show based on a fantasy series has gotten this popular, though. When it was announced, I was worried we might get half a season and then it would get cancelled. |
