Six people have been killed and about 80 injured in an explosion that happened at Myyrmanni, a mall in Vantaa, Finland at around 7:30 pm this afternoon.
Most of the injuried happened when the glass ceiling collapsed on the shoppers.
The incident happened at the most busiest time of the day, police say there must have been at least a thousand (probably two thousand) people in the mall when the explosion happened.
It is not yet known what caused the explosion. It was first assumed of being a gas explosion, however the owner of the mall says there is no gas pipes/bottles in the mall.
Myyrmanni is one of the biggest malls in Finland.

| If it does turn out to be deliberate, it would suck, but I think finland is probably short on bad things like this, especially when you look at like washington lately with the sniper, and all the things in other places like Israel and even close to home :( |

| Yes, Finland usually is quite a peaceful place to live and raise ur children, but when things like this happen (and i also mean if it turns out to be deliberate), it makes u wonder if the peacefulness is just the shell and lots of bad things are going beneath it.. :( |

| Yeah, things like this don't around Finland. But yeah, lately the snipers and all. I'm scared...that's a lil TOO close to home. |

I read somewhere that despite its reputation as a "peaceful" country, Finland has one of the highest murder rates in Europe. I am not kidding.
Experts believe that this is because Finns, even more so than other Northern people, strongly repress their emotions -- but when the emotions do come out, all hell breaks loose. That can help explain it.
Also, people drink in Finland more than in most other European countries. |

IT WAS A BOMB!!!!:nervous: :eyes: :(
7 ppl got killed and the number of victims are believed to increase because some of the victims got so seriously injured.
