What brand/type of monitors do you have, and what do(n't) you like about them?

I just bought myself a pair of Tannoy Reveal Active's, they sound really good imo.. Very clear.
SAGE2635
I got a pair of these monitors. Yorkville YSM1P - one of the best/cheapest and not anywhere as expensive as the mackies
Mr.Mystery

Jamo Dynamic D4...

They aren't studio monitors but they're all I've got :)

ive got studiophile SP5B they are supernice and cheep but they cut off all frequ below like 60, so that kinda sucks... but they are better then 15 year old speachers

I have a set of 12" Accoustics pushed by a 500 watt amp..
Not monitors though. They are nice sounding though. They have crossovers for each sub/mid/tweater.

im thinkinf about getting the 8b or the newer version of htem at least glad to hear that you like em

I have a nice big pair of Linear Phase 8812s with a 200W amp behind them. Treble is crisp and they can shift air as low as 35Hz... can be a bit boomy with deeper stuff but it kind of grows on you :)

I got mine from digital village, they were doing em cheap coz they were getting ready to bring in the new version. I cant imagine there will be much differnce between the old and new, i havent checked though, they seem to use exactly the same woofer and tweeter. Id get em if you can find somewhere which still sells em, they should be cheap.

I just checked and the new ones are 130watt not 100 but they do seem to be the same woofer and tweeter and mine distort so i can see why you would need more power. Plus the frequency resonse is actually wider on the my model, fuk knows, i dont rekon you'll be able to tell the difference neway.

i went all out in my studio.

I have 2 mackie hr824 studio monitors and a mackie hrs120 sub for the lows.

They suite me well in perfect sound quality for the style that i produce and the are perfect for practicing for bigger perfocmances.
