| I can agree with that Saphyre, but to me trance has always been about delivering a feeling of salvation and not celebration like it is now. That's how I've been explaining it at least. Like church for the non-religious. |

I am in the middle when it comes to trance.
I love the classic trance sound that isnt some stupid buildup to the same lame drop that is used with mainstream electro house music.
But I do love the harder trance (psytrance, 138+ BPM).
For me, if you brought back old school blank and jones, cosmic gate, rank 1, svenson & gielen, etc. I would be the happiest person out there.
And yes those names are considered cheesy back then, but I love that sound. Whereas I cant do a single cosmic gate track now. Progressive vocal snoozefest |
