| Oakie has always been great. Too bad he doesnt do it everywhere he goes, but that could be because of a bad vibe from the crowd. |

i have always liked oakey and defended him when everyone else bashed him. by "renewed faith" i meant that he finally did what i was expecting him to do - go back and prove why he is the most famous dj in the world

| His sets have gotten a lot better, however, still no where near 1999 Essential Mix world tour greatness. |

hell the yea man im down and always hae been down with oakey. He got me into trance and ive been a faithful follower since day one. This mix shows y. U knoe all the fair weather guys getton on the oakey bashing wagon. Can the guy try new ? Does he have to follow ure tastes? I think we all knoe the answer to that, NO! So lay off Oakey and jam this set and get ready for the king wants his damn throne back.

Well, I have to admit I really liked this set, but not THAT much ... I think your reaction tops f0x's to Paul ...

Amen Umwad, that Stateside mix was wicked, very nice breakbeat indeed. Add me to the 'faith restored' list.

Ok, I'm impressed. If he keeps playing sets like this, he'll be a favorite of mine once again.
That said, I still worry that he's trying to appeal to too broad of an audience. But I suppose you can't blame him for trying. |
