I've been thinking about changing up some of my recording front-end gear with either this combo:
Or an API lunchbox with some of these:
I probably won't do either, especially not the slippery slope of 500-series modules. But, that's what I'm GAS'ing for these days.
Must.Pass.GAS. :nervous: |

Hey Cry, you can use external AU/VST plug ins and effects in maschine sequencer right? Anyhow the reason why i want to get it is i like the gui and I want to look for a better workflow. |

You mean third-party plugins, right? Yes, Maschine will load all/most of your VST/AU plugins. I've had problems with it not loading one or two plugins (2C Aether and B2), but everything else works fine, including 2C Breeze (go figure). If you have Komplete or individual NI plugins, Maschine integrates with them very well. |

Wow I'm in love. I'm getting a mikro on ebay asap.
An geoff I'm debating between a external Korg or the v synth for awhile already |

I finally saved up for a moog minitaur but I decided to spend it on a bar top arcade build instead.. Thought it would be a canny little project for my son and I since he's not into making music yet, so yeah still gassing for a moog!

I think it depends if you want something knobby and quick or Omnisphere in a box.
Just get both :p

I got the fastest 15" Retina i7 with the 512GB SSD and 16GB RAM. Basically the top of the range one with the relatively good value CPU upgrade and not the silly HDD upgrade.
I had the i5 dual core Mac Mini earlier in the year and it was a waste of time. No grunt at all. |

Aye its silly what they charge for the upgrades...
I got the i7 mini (which is enough really) but I am tempted to go get finance on the mbp.
