What's your latest project? (pg. 7)

Back on topic...
I've got a few projects on the go presently...
1) I'm revising the why in which we audit the performance of our staff and drafting service standards to support the new audit criteria.
2) I'm leading a project to evaluate our service providers, weigh their results against our in-house staff and each other, and develop new service level agreements (there is a fair bit of overlap between the two projects)
3) My favourite current project is mentoring a chronically under-performing staff member to improve his performance... I'm especially proud of this one as I've managed to help guide him through a major turn around and he is now amongst our top performers and is on the cusp of promotion a scant 1.5 years from when I started working with him (although I have to give him most of the credit here, as he has responded better than I had ever imagined).
On the personal side; I don't have much going on other than trying to be a good dad and man... that consumes most of my time. |

Eric was right about an eminent melt down just happened in a different thread.
Nou whether you fingered her or not, it's pretty terrible you're spreading rumors and bragging about it. Every time you reach a new low you find a way to out do yourself. |

I have only recently become more interested in politics, but that's something too. |

I think you might be the only regular here I've never seen any kind of political post from.

On an actual on topic note I finally sent an email trying to get out of my current publishing contract. Hopefully they see the benefit of a simple cut and don't want to deal with the large amount of money they'd owe to gain full IP control. |
what IS the going rate for a free mod of someone else's game? |

Just wasting some time outside the production studio to procrastinate. In my own time I'm working on services to make life easier for record labels. It's already covering its costs and after Amsterdam Dance Event I can hopefully say it is slowly getting profitable :). After that time to open up a beta for a second service.

Not sure if this is a "project", but I've just moved in with my girlfriend, and getting everything bought and sorted out for the flat has been dominating my time for the last few weeks. I still need to get all the boxes unpacked in the spare room and put a desk in there so I can get my decks set up. Then I need to buy a ninja new laptop, controller and so on, so I can dispense with the ty CDJs I've had since I was 17.
Aside from that I need to find a route near the new place so I can continue training up to hopefully run a marathon by the end of 2015, injuries permitting. I signed up for the Leeds Half Marathon for next May to stop me from getting sedentary and giving up the running.
Creatively, I've still got the radio show which is an ongoing project, and I'm trying to give myself a kick up the arse to get started on a proper writing project again. |

Well yeah, cause I don't really know enough about the subject to comment. I'm embarrassed to say it, but I didn't even vote until I was in university - because it was only then that I actually understood why it was important for me to do so, especially with the career I'd chosen. I was the typical "Oh everything's fine, I don't need to vote!" complacent type.
Anyhow, they really shoved it down our throats in my program how important it is for nurses to get involved with politics (healthcare politics especially, duh) because we are poised to have a really big impact due to our large numbers and unique knowledge of issues affecting Canadians socioeconomically.
So yeah, I want a better understanding. |

I bought a house and it takes a good deal of time and effort to get situated.
My current project is to improve my chili skills. I entered a competition recently and was a bit out of my league. |
