If you could keep only one vinyl from your entire collection...

Which would it be, and why? In other words, your favorite 12" from your collection.

Pretty sure mine would be Hemisphear ‎– Devoid Of Mental Restrictions. Loved it so much, I had two copies at one point. All four tracks vary in style and are all of superb quality. Who needs drugs when you have something like this?

How about you?

I spent a couple years hunting it down bc it appeared in a Danny Howells Essential mix in 2007. The A-side is one of the slickest deep house tracks..it sounds like an aquarium.

All of them.

I did. Recently sold all my vinyl except one. It's a mis-print from Vapour recordings. The B side is not whats printed on the vinyl and I can't find the track anywhere. Also happened to be the best one in my collection.

I give equal esteem to all my records. I'm just speaking for myself when I say that I'd be pretentious as hell to pick one.

Then I need choose between Nylon Moon - Sky Plus and BBE - Seven Days And One Week.... (sold the others).

BBE probably.

I've also already sold most of my collection, and unfortunately both copies of Carl Crack ‎– Black Ark are no longer in my possession. :(

Discogs says I still have my spare copy of Hemisphear, though I thought I sold them both. If I do, I'll keep it. Might have to buy a turntable again sometime...

someone once told me that I would consciously or subconsciously transition into CDJ's or digital because that's the natural evolution of all the DJs that start off with turntables. that. vinyls forever.
