many religiouse idiolgies from 2 - 5000 years ago, HAVE to be disgarded because they don't work in our society anymore. Things like, women are not aloud to be in the workplace..
Religion is an escape for people who fear death.. I don't believe in any religion whatsoever.. I DO however believe in a god.. But i don't believe that god would create segregation by creating occults wich would then grow into religions..

if, by "world's problems" you mean "political problems" then i must disagree, as america is pretty much the sole cause of them.
and america doesn't have a democracy - that's a joke. america has a sick, perverted form of government that doesn't deserve to be allowed to get even a mile close to the definition "democracy."

first, washington has announced that north korea has "admitted" to having a nuclear weapons program. notice how it's washington calling the big news, not north korea. notice how it's announced in an unquestionable manner. big brother always tells the truth.
great, so after iraq we already know the next target - north korea. they have been warned to completely disarm their nuclear capabilities "as per global disarmament treaties."
how ironic that america has the largest nuclear weapon store of any country. (and growing)
and who's next? well, iran, obviously, to complete the "axis of evil." after these three countries are reduced to rubble and ashes, what then? we can't have the military machine stop!! that would mean economic stagnation and - *gasp* unemployment! egads, we must search for a new target.... umm... oops! india has a nuclear weapons program too, well scratch them off the map. and it goes on and on...
secondly, it has been reported that colin powell is "going to get tough on france" (in that exact wording!!) for opposing america's intentions in iraq. if you look in the playground, you will notice that if someone opposes the bully, they get beat up. and if you oppose big brother, hmm who knows what's coming your way!! maybe a nuke or two, since it's fashionable nowadays in america to speak with weapons not reason.
thirdly, a (as of now, "innocent") *CANADIAN* citizen that was visiting his family in the middle east was DEPORTED to syria after flying to the united states. no reason given.. naturally, canada's foreign minister has responded in outrage, saying that canadian citizens should be respected as such. of course, big brother doesn't care!! his word is the law!
well, Jobe5454 this post has veered off course, and so isn't being addressed to you anymore, please don't get offended. it's addressed to people in general who refuse to open their eyes and see what's really happening around them. |

North Korea announced it.. Or rather admitted to it.. as for the france thing i don't know a thing about that, and i agrea with you 100% on what the americans had done to the Canadian kid.. And Canada should be pissed off, i hope if something like that happend to me this country of mine would stand up for me in outrage..

i'm not suggesting that saddam is a good man, or that he doesn't deserve to have his ass kicked. but i'd like to see how america feels when a bigger bully walks into the playground and decides that THEY need a regime change.... we'll see then...

First of all The Americans dropped to nuclear bombs on JAPAN, I don't know where you got Germany.. and the americans were not like " oh, look we have a big bomb lets use it " there was a HUGE debate within congress to determine whether or not to use this weapon.. THe reason they decided to use it, was the war with Japan was no where near to over, nor did they know if they would win the war..
So SAY Japan did win that war.. The U.S.A. would not be the super power it is today... And where would that leave the rest of the world.. Frankley we would live in a completely different society then we do today.. and that is NOT debatable.. I'm sorry, but the atomic bombs did not end the War. Japan was gonna surrender in seven days anyways, the bombs just put the icing on the cake, at the cost of a ghastly amount of innocent lives. Even so, i'm pretty sure TWO weren't required.
And cut the anti-communist crap. Neither Germany or Japan were communist during WWII. In fact, the war was won by Russia, or the Soviet Union = a communist country. Don't fall for oldschool American propoganda, communism does not equal evil.
Not being anti-American or anything, Just wanted to clear those facts up. |

Japan was not going to surrender in seven days i don't know where you got that idea..
And why did they use two.. Because they knew that the bombs would be the biggest and most powerful, but they had NO idea that it would be as devestating as it was..
