| Why do I need to know this? If anyone bought the device, why is it advertising itself to other people? |

its a signature telling that the sender dont understand how to change email signature settings, most likely this person is old, a female or uneducated. basically a measurement of applied IQ (relevant IQ by todays usuage). |
I deliberately keep it at my phone as people from work can see I'm not behind my pc, or already at home (U.S. colleagues).
And don't call me old :whip: |

| It's a way to say "if there's too many typos in my message, it's because I can't type for on this small iPad/smartphone/etc." |

It's interesting how we become advertisers for the products we buy and yet some companies continue to use us. When you buy a car, you advertise for it when you drive it. When you buy a device, you advertise for it and its company by using it in public. Having each message sent with a message about the brand is added advertising.
There would be no harm done if you change the "Sent from [device name]" to "Sent from a smartphone/tablet" which would serve as a possible excuse for any possible typos without advertising for the company. |
