Interesting...

Got no issues with that list other than Leon Vynehall's album not being on there.

The Todd Terje and Head High albums were my favorites.

I only knew about three of these albums even existed, and no prizes for guessing which ones. And I've actually heard loads of new albums in 2014, too.

I'd have included the Dense and Pika album on there as well.

I second that. I heard about 7 albums on that list. Syro and Code were my two favorite albums of the year actually. Heard Faith in Strangers and didnt think it was that special. Good but not great for me.

The RA top albums list is always really, really ing boring. I love electronic listening music and I listen to dozens and dozens of electronic albums every year, but whenever I check out any of their End Of Year recommendations they are just turgid wank.

Sorry to say, but I've always preferred mixes to albums in DM.

Vice versa when it comes to Hip Hop.

Yup.

I prefer the mixes much more.

I've complained similarly in the past...specifically regarding techno "albums". I dont get how anyone would listen to berghain techno bangers in their car, complete with intro and outro

Check out the Pulshar link I posted above. That's a sweet listen and very very easy on the ears :)

Have you checked out much of Pablo Bolivar's solo stuff, Mark?
