lol then I am relieved..not a huge progressive fan myself but dave seaman was very good. thx for trying to help me find the dude who gave the free tix away. since we couldn't find him I ended up going to the guv which was pretty ty! The <100 BPM made me yawn the whole time, so I went home an hr later. I saw an old night school friend, so the night wasn't a complete waste.

Hi Guys!!
Well, my first time at KoolHaus and it was good.
When we (TranceArmada, E*Master, Mecha and me) got there was pretty empty. I was surprised to see the line moving quite fast.
After getting through the bouncer that touched my boobs :eyes: we went to the dancefloor...music was aiight when we got there, it was empty...some ppl dancing not many.
Later in the night Chris Fortier kinda surprised me, he was not mixing absolutely great...and a lot of people were going whaaattt?? including me. After waiting until 3:00 am Sasha was pretty good when he came on, and a lot of people started cheering...but eventually he started to go down....tunes weren't as exciting..but were good over all.
There was a point in the middle of the night when the dancefloor got really crowded and I didn't have much space to dance. After that in about half an hour he went down again.
E*Master was pretty tired so we decided to go sit down to the couches. We left at around 5:30 am. Everyone had to work the next morning.
The highlight of the night was meeting all of you TA's at the corner close to the bar. It was nice to see a lot of you come out and introduce yourselves.
Shouts out to: InfinityHigh, Halo20, StereoPrincess, TatGirl's Friend(Sorry forgot your name), and many many more of you...sorry can't remember everyone's names. :P
I hope you all had fun tho..I did and I hope to see you all for Mistress Barbara! :D :D |

Hmmmm, we the only thing I can say I'm disappointed with are these reviews and the crowd. I don't think you guys should be saying that sasha sucked. How well would you do if you looked into the crowd and there was no one there?
I had a great time and it was awesome seeing everyone again. It was also nice making new friends like Tw1tch, Jay, Jay-Jay and Dan. Halo20, you are always a blast, I hope you feel better now. Nice picture by the way :rolleyes: . Funny .
Music was pretty good eventhough, I'm not into progressive per say. I hardly recognized any tunes. I think this even should have taken place at a smaller venue so there wouldn't be so much empty space. |

I totally agree with the whole bandwagon thing, I called this would be boring and got flammed out my ass from a certain some in this forum. Although I love progressive, Sasha is hardly even that. An excellent mixer but over-rated DJ for sure.

And I hate it when people post in the review forums who weren't even ing there. Honestly, how can your opinon mean anything if you were on your ass at home. :rolleyes: This isn't about Tiesto, this isn't about pre-supposed notions of "I told you so". This is about Sasha and Chris Fortier on Saturday night at Koolhaus, thanks.
Now to clarify, Sasha was by NO means boring. As I look back more and more the night was great, it's just tough to gage because we were expecting the moon to fall out of the sky. |
