before you comment.

the scientific method does not take into account empiricism in its pure form. empiricism is learning from experience, this means that emotions, instincts, the supernatural, the spiritual, all have to be taken into consideration when trying to understand objective reality.

the scientific method is a mockery to empiricism and philosophy.

you cant make the assumptions that physical senses and physical observations can describe a universe which has not been proven to be only physical

The discreet method in which it is applied. Through secret code, sometimes done too well, so much so that it can confuse. A code that changes with each new additional statement, like a painting drawn upside down only to be flipped and the answer then realized.

Much too hard for simpletons to understand the necessity, importance and urgency which it can or cannot lack.

what? :stongue:

the alternative to science is retarded, small-minded and ignorant. that's why we believe in science - that, and it's verifiable.

spiritual experiences aren't actual spirits, ghosts, an afterlife or god, i'm afraid.

you CAN have a spiritual experience, that's the power of the brain at work, and you could go on to think that that was god or some sort of actual spirit, but that would be retarded. it's probably some flashback type thing through circumstance, a backlash from suppression and inhibition.

take some 'shrooms or acid, or something to experience the brain in all its glory.

i actually think some of the best scientists were UNINHIBITED, somewhat ironically.

you wouldn't know science if it was holding you down and punching your colon.

That sounds like his bi-weekly visits to daddy's house as a child.
