I want to learn more of this "progressive style", can someone anyone recommend any to progressive that can start as a apetizer as I begin to feed on more and more of progressive tracks?
Thanks, I don't mean to get flamed, just wanted some help.
Help is nice, sharing is caring. |

Atlas - Compass Error (Tarrentella vs Redanka Remake)
Bedrock - Emerald (Original Mix)
Etienne Overdijk & Don Londi - Not Done (Madoka's Finished Mix)
All are quite trancey really... I'd say you'd like 'em. :) |

Sasha dropped that on Saturday :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop: :eyespop:
Also checkout
Josh Gabriel - Wave 3 (Charlie May mix)
Timo Maas - Help Me (Deep Dish Attacks mars mix)
Blackwatch & Greed - Gentle Rain (Original mix) or (Early Morning mix)
Also, I really think that to taste the full progressive experience, you should checkout a mix (such as a mixed cd or a set), so check these out:
Sasha Live@Priviledge 04-08-2002
Any of Dave Seamans GLobal Underground's (22 is my personal fav, but I think you should checkout his earlier ones first)
Any of Sasha's GU's (I like 009 a tiny bit better than 013, but 99% of the prog population consider 013 to be the better one :))
Digweed's MMII
Oh, and don't expect it to hit you right away and to fall in love with it right away...it takes time :) So give the songs a couple of listens (being high helps :p) |

John Digweed's Bedrock compilation pretty much covers most sides to progressive music. If you want some progressive trance you can relate to, I suggest Sasha - Global Underground Ibiza, and Dave Ralph - Tranceport 2. If you want deep dark tribal progressive at its finest, John Digweed - Global Underground Los Angeles is a fine choice, unless the repetition will kill you. Another honorable mention is Max Graham - Transport 4 :)
Recommended Tracks:
Bedrock - Heaven Scent
Bedrock - For what you Dream of
Sasha - Expander (those are all the classics)
Max Graham - Tell you (Lush progressive trance)
Sasha - Rabbitweed
Sasha - Scorchio
Tribal stuff I don't really know much about in terms of individual tracks but here are my favorites off of Digweed's GU: Los Angeles.
Cass - Genesis
Breeder - Carnival XIII
Aria - one
Hope this helped:D |

I disagree with Sasha's ADD completely, that set is way more euphoric abstract than progressive.
I recommend
Max Graham - Transport 4
Digweed - MM2 (as mentioned before)
Creamer and K - Bedrock 4 (hasn't left my stereo since I got it) |
