Embarrass Bumping Trance Music?
View this Thread in Original format

OK..... do you folks get embarrass bumping trance music in your car and getting stares? I don't know, maybe I'm not hardcore enough but, sometimes I feel a bit embarrass because people might see me as a "poser", and bandwagon'er, a sheep, a (fill in the blank).

There was once a time when trance became 'the thing' and as much as I'd like to bump the shiznit outta my dual 12" PYLE subwoofers to some Paul Van Dyke Ibiza 2002 set....... I feel a bit embarrass about it in fear of looking like a tool. But I guess that stage has passed, so it's OK to show off my love for trance again without being ashamed.

I'd be embarrass now to bump dubstep though, just saying. Long live the sheep!!!!! :stongue:

I wouldn't play any of his new mixes though....... now that would be embarrassing.

Anyway, but damn, doesn't that just turn you on when you see a cute girl driving alone and you hear some bass coming from her car as she slowly pulls up to the stop light, you turn down you music and roll down your window to hear what she's listening to. And Oh my to your surprise, she's bumping some old skool Paul Van Dork mixes from the late 90's! So you're sitting there, hoping for the first time in your life that the red light stays lit for eternity while you're staring at her and admiring her. She notices, it's that vibe energy kinda thing that she felt that made her turn to look at you. She see's that your looking, cracks a cute little smile, you're embarrassed now being caught looking..... and like a fool, you turn your head quickly without even a smile back at her. You turn your head again just for another quick glance and see that she's half chuckling inside because of your embarrassment. The light turns green, and so your dream slowly fades away........... :(

okay I retract what I said before, this isn't juan

you'd run into this all the time after leaving a party 5..6..7.. am at the stoplight the car next to you was bangin rave and you just knew they were there 20 minutes ago. There's nothing you can do really except exchange a knowing smile then move on

I'm embarrassed to listen to trance in just about any situation these days.

I'm not getting stares, but think play trance loud enough to hear it outside the car, like 20 years ago, although I now have a great little amp in the back :)

hahahahaha. this thread cracks me up for some reason. I think it's due to my own experiences. the funny thing is, it's the early 2000's commercial eurotrance type of music that works well with driving. Big Beat music is the best driving music imo and I have no shame in playing it.
