Everyone is on Mayweather's ass for fighting defensive. But this has always been Mayweather's tactic. This is how he got to 47-0. he's a tactical fighter and boring to watch. We all knew Mayweather's strategy coming into the fight. He delivered what I expected of him. Defensive fighting. Pac man came to the fight with 0 strategy. He threw less punches than the most defensive fighter in the world. That is the saddest outing for pac man I have ever seen. The three rounds he won was the pac man I am used to seeing. but for 9 of the other rounds he did absolutely nothing.
I hate mayweather as much as anyone else in the world. I would have loved to see him lose. But in the end he fought the fight he wanted to fight and was successful. Pacman was the one who was truly disappointing.
people need to get off mayweather's nuts. Mayweather the most DEFENSIVE fighter in the world, threw more punches than the Pac man. Pacquaio wasn't good enough to beat him. End of story

Everyone was hoping Pac would use his speed and quickness to open things up to get a knock out and that would force may off his game. But instead we got two guys looking to cash their check. Pac didn't care if he lost.

Boxing isnt what it was like in the 80s and 90s when you would have many great fighters in the same weight class. for 10 years we haven't seen a great fighter probably since roy jones jr and Oscar De la Hoya. These are the last 2 of great fighters so it was a big deal for them to square off. This fight should have happened 5 years ago but mayweather was ducking it because he didn't want to ruin his legacy so he waited until manny was passed his prime.
It was a big deal because these are the last two talented boxers. I think manny will announce his retirement in the upcoming weeks and Floyd has 1-2 fights left in him so he can break a record and go 50-0
