I am so ing sick of this ; that cvtn has been like this for over 10 years, before the KUWTK was even airing. Friends of the family knew, people in the industry knew.
I remember telling some girl I knew who was a die hard Kardashian family fan, FIVE YEARS ago that he was transgender and loved the spam javelin and she ing flipped out on me, telling me how he could never be gay, he's national hero and they're such a great family yada yada.
I am so ing sick of how the transgender and LBGT community holding him up as some kind of poster boy for "bravery". He hid it for years as they couldn't have made money with that secret then, and as soon as the K ship is running out of steam and they've finally beaten that publicity hor(se) to death, he decides to "come out". Real brave.
that entire publicity whoring, child pimping, opportunist money grabbing family, and all those suckers that think this is some kind of special moment for transgender acceptance.
They sold that happy family image from a few years ago, just like they're selling his bull to you now.

Ppl are in puppets. I mentioned how he/she was doing this half for attention and people flipped out. I feel if you make a decision and run straight to the media then your motives are not what you say they are.
People are gullible as . I remember my female cousins having this conversation years ago about how smart and great of a business woman Oprah is. I was like "No whoever she hired to manage that part of her empire are great business people, She is a talk show host and that's it. You hire out everything else and do what you do best. For Oprah its being a talk show host."

I simply don't have the time to put in to words my feelings on Caitlyn Jenner, I am not for her neither am I against her.
I will say this though, Its a money thing as far as I am concerned, She came out and because of who she is, almost everyone in the world accepted her for who she is, her money, influence and celeb status contributed to this almost total acceptance.
When I came out to the world, I had the opposite experience, was called a freak, a pervert, some people even told me I should not be allowd to live.
I have been spat on, verbally abused, assaulted for me being me, no one is going to do that to Caitlyn Jenner!
I am happy for her, I am glad that after years of living a lie, she can be herself, but as a role model for transgendered people, NO.
The majority of transgender people have to deal with discrimination on a daily basis, Caitlyn will never have to deal with that, yes, she will get hate tweets and comments on social media but she will never be chased up a street and beaten to a pulp! That is the reality for most transgender people, not being on the cover of vanity fair, being paid to come out and having designers shower you with expensive clothes.... |
