Neo I'm not saying Bruce Jenner because she is a transgender. It's just sooooo in obvious it's for money. Having that as a spokesperson for transgenders is like having the cast of the jersey shore as the spokespeople for the Italian community.
If he did this privately or if there wasn't a photoshoot, a tv reality series and makeup endorsement deal, I wouldn't think he was being an attention hungry money grubbing opportunist. Hell even if he did take all that money and then donate it to organization that helps stop transgender teens commit suicide I would have more respect.
neo, I was thinking maybe it was prolonged listening to trance music that made you transgender? And that's terrible somebody chased you down to beat you up. Sorry to hear that mate....unles off course you went up to them and grabbed their willy first. |

The reason this gets so much attention is because it is FREE content that is controversial and people click for curiousity/rubber-necking purposes.
Gradual dumbing down of the masses while the real problems are ignored and never reported on. Similar to EDM these days where the music gets less attention than a Mat Zo twitter rant. |

Eric, if you had read my post properly, you would see that I have agreed with what you said, I think that the vast sums of money and promotional deals she has secured for 'coming out' is disgusting, she is no role model for transgender people just as her stepdaughter Kim Kardashian is no role model for teen girls.
Trance music does not make you transgender, like listening to Kylie does not make you gay, its something you are born with, I was born transgender, I have known since I was 9 years old, long before the time of trance music...
There was no internet when I was 9 years old, there was no where to get information, so I hid who I am, I tried to conform to be who people thought I was meant to be, I even did 3 years in the army.
When I realised I had to be me, there was the fear of rejection, telling family and friends and how they would react, my mother said I was just going through a phase.. so I hid it again, I had a partner, I have children, all in the need to conform, don't get me wrong, I love my children and will never regret having them but I am thankful that they to accept me for who I am now.
My family and friends also accept me for who I am, it took a few years, long nights of talks and tears, but with better information that's now available, people realise it is a condition, people are genuinely sometimes born with the wrong body.
So, with women like Caitlyn in the public eye, it is a good thing as it makes more people aware of people who are transgender, but she is still no role model.

And you can call a girl a mate right? Just like in northamerica you can call a woman bud. It's not very affectionate but it's still done.
Anyways as long as you are happy. Are you going to get surgery or hormone injections? |

You can call a girl a mate but its not that common to be honest, my friends usually use my name lol
And I have already had the surgery. |
