Hey I'm all for free speech. Everyone gets all pissy when someone gets blasted for what they said but everyone is quick to forget he did say what he wanted freely but the industry, that was built from the gay black community, wasn't standing for his nonsense. As a public figure, if you don't know how to 'control' yourself and your message on social media then just get rid of it.
It's amazing how many people will passionately argue for this guy's demise, though. It's the same people who probably won't say a word if they see someone bullying a homeless man on the street or some other happening in their reality. Most who have distanced themselves from him are worried about their bottom line - not gay rights. Gay people attend dance events so we gotta make sure our image complies with that. Cool, I get it. But don't sit here and speak up like you're standing up for some . Gtfoh.
