These have all been long-standing, long-mentioned names, and it doesn't seem as though SF has produced much locally grown talent that rose to global status in recent years, and outside of house music (which makes sense considering how much of the city's culture is being swiftly uprooted by the never-ending influx of wealthy technology professionals).

Pretty sure Deepsky and Young American Primitive are from the Bay area. I also met Bird of Prey (Torin) a few years back at a psy festival near Ottawa. Very good guy and makes some really unique music.

A local DJ that got a bit of spotlight thanks to Pete Tong doing a few EMs where he featured resident DJs.
