So how is Heart? Is it a real solid venue or just another club that's going to open and close within a span of 9 months?

The team behind it some of the best in Miami. So far, so good. Packed week in and week out. I don't see Humans Alike closing up shop there anytime soon.

Great vibe and group of people there weekly. Funktion One Sound, wide open dance floor(No VIP in the way), places to sit and chill if you want to, and easy to get in the doors every week. Everyone that works there is friendly. I just joined the Humans Alike team to help promote this place, and I wouldn't have been a part of this project if I didn't think it was going to be great. Heart isn't going anywhere, this is just the beginning and this place is going to set the trend for the future of nightlife in Miami.

Set the trend, lol. You def sound like a promoter.

We'll see.

Was thinking the same thing. If I had a dollar for every promoter or flyer person who said "this is the next big thing that will change the scene" :p

:p It is true, I'm a promoter. Though I got into it because I'm passionate about the music scene, especially in Miami and wanted to support some real change. I along with most everyone in the Miami music scene have grown tired of the "Mansion/Story/LIV" VIP catered clubs that Miami's nightlife had turned into. Heart caters to the real music enthusiasts, and that's something that I've been personally missing for a long time now.

Treehouse lost Link Miami Rebels, and they've started to go down a bit.

There is "Do Not Sit", which brings cool underground talent occasionally, but the venue only holds 100 people tops.

Bardot is pretentious as hell. If they want to survive a year from now, they are going to have to revamp their staff. Plus, it's another really small venue.

I do love Trade, and you will find me there often. Trade has the talent, prime location, and no hassle at the door/VIP type of atmosphere, but that place is fairly small as well and gets packed, and hot as .

With Heart having 3 floors, no hassle, wide open dance floor, 24 hr liquor license, great ventilation(something commonly overlooked) and being a large capacity venue they have potential to have some massive shows in their future. I see their top comparable competition being Trade, and Trade is still going to pull the underground crowd being backed by Link Miami Rebels. But, Trade's crutch is that they are in South Beach. Miamians don't like South Beach. When everyone leaves Trade at 5am after an Adam Beyer set, they will end up at Heart.

It seems to me that their competition would be Club Space. Afterhours license, huge place, ventilation, great sound system, downtown Miami. Sounds a LOT like Space. The lineups are great so far. How's Space's crowd been since Heart started operations?
