So I hate to be the buzzkill here- but I have a different opinion after having 2 kids and shooting them out my vagina (which you would think is blown out, but it's not..) Pregnancy is awkward, and not attractive, and emotional for sure. I hated having raging hormones and hating the way i looked. Maternity clothes suck and i think those photo shoots are ridiculous. I did, however, love the feeling of getting to know a tiny person inside of me.
Those motherly instincts kick in fast. You form a personal connection with your baby that is hard to describe. Also- don't rule out vaginal birth! I have not had a c-section but know lots of women who have and they are painful to recover from and can leave a nasty scar. I am glad i had both my kids in my 20's and i'm sure that helped my bits stay in tact. Maybe some womens vaginas get blown out, i can't vouch for that. My look terrible though- not sure how it could have been avoided. |

My wife had a c section. 15 minutes and done.
The scar is minimal. Surgeries have come a long way.
7 days in the hospital vs 3...very worth it, at least from her perspective.
Flying squirrel mode avoided. |

| Yeah, many chicks I know have had c sections. A minimal scar doesn't bother me, neither does abdominal surgery. I know all about potential complications and the recovery pathway. At this point in my life I'm really not that into being in labour for hours on end and having pain during it and all that , especially if I want to have more than one kid. |
