First of all, big apologies to the rest of the TA's that I was not able to meet up with you. Me and my friends got way too ed up and I couldn't understand any phone calls or anything, at times I didn't even know where I was. ;)
As far as the show ... opening DJ was Andy Hunter, and he rocked Vision with awesome progressive house (of note Atlas - Compass Error, and a few other stormers from Noel Sanger's Space set). At about 12:30 the dancefloor was completely packed and out of control, and the place was full of every type of person you could imagine, and tons were dressed up for Halloween (I wish I would've thought of that). Me and my friends pretty much chilled out at a table we got until ~ 1:30 when Tiesto got on the decks.
To anyone who is saying Tiesto is going to garbage, he obviously didn't put on a show like he did last night. Banging trance, techno, a little bit of prog throughout. The energy never stopped, only one bad mix that I remembered, but recovered from well (I was probably too ed to realize a bad mix :) ). I thought he would spin for longer than 3 hours but by that time my body was about at it's breaking point. The tracklist was awesome, some very unexpected songs. Here is the tracklist I can remember (not in order)
John Askew - Vellum
ID (#1 from 19.10 Space Set)
Tangled Universe - Melodies from the Universe (Original Mix)
Andain - Summer Calling (Airwave Club Mix)
Flash - Closing Session
King Unique - Sugar High
The Green Martian - Wizardry
Chris Lake - Santiago de Cuba
James Holden - Nothing (93 Returning Mix)
ID # 4 from 14.10 Set (Subsonik Remix? )
Umek - Gatex (DJ Tiesto Remix)
Mark Norman - Faith
D*Note - Shed My Skin (Mr Sam's 'One Night in San Francisco' Remix)
Lolo - Melody
Viframa - Cristalle (Katana's Intro Mix)
Plastic Boy - Silver Bath
Cape Town - Pitstop
Tomcraft - Loneliness (Klub Mix)
Age of Love - Age of Love (Mr. Sam Remix)
Conjure One ft. Sinead O'Connor - Tears From The Moon (DJ Tiesto Remix)
Luc Poublon - Quantum Leap (Luc Original Mix)
?
DJ Tiesto - Urban Train
?
Umek - Gatex (DJ Montana Remix)
Nightvision - Believin' (J&R Project Remix)
Vitalic - Le Rock 01
Reinhardt Voigt - Supertiel
Body Shock - Rock This
And for the Encore
Dariush - Ira
DJ Tiesto - Flight 643
I'm trying somehow to put this in order, if you can help at all let me know, I'm pretty sure on the first 7
? marks are when I was outside looking for a friend |

yeah, it was a great show.
another classic tiesto evening.
i am totally out of it right now but have about 70 badass photos my boys and i took w/ the digital camera, so i will post them once i get myself together
...the $1 pints of MGD did not help the recovery situation during the bears game today.
we were able, however, to get tiesto to autograph some posters and a 12" that we brough with, so that was kinda cool.

Here is another thing i just remembered. Who ever opened for tiesto, just a few songs before Tijs took over, he played
Roger Goode - In the beginning (Ferry Corsten Remix)

Hey bobby
howd u miss urban train!??!?!?!?!
:whip: :whip: :whip: :whip:
that was definitely the highlight of the night for me, i just went nuts to that!
but it was good chilling with you TranceNut!
Bobby! i was waiting at the tunnel at 1am but our phone conversations were abit incomprehensible for me to understand you..
next tiime!
but the show was pretty good. i wasn't really excited about seeing the 'Horse' but he put on quite a show. tiesto was very theatrical and involved with the crowd, which is in contrast to pvd
NEXT WEEK -> PVD BOSTON OCT 31, PVD NYC NOV 1ST!!! HOLY FOCK!!!!!!!

AHHHH you ing saved my life! I heard this track and went crazy but could not remember it for anything although it was so familiar
... thank you so much!
In regards to Urban Train:
My friend called me to come get him in at like 3 and I was outside and around for like 15 min so I must have missed it in that time, I am SO pissed! At least I heard it last year.
And hearing Wizardry made my night ... holy that song is golden |

The song that made my night besides urban train was mark norman - faith. So deep and mysterious. Wow. What i would give to get a copy of last nights set. I know they recorded it. I watched counter go up and up from my stand point. I want Tiesto back again. Man that was a good night.
BTW does anyone have a copy on Reinhardt Voigt - Supertiel on mp3?? WOW that song picked me up too |
