Compared to past DSI synths it sounds really warm and pleasant. The price though.

Im really not a fan of 95% of the snyths that come out these days, but I must say this one sounds incredible.

thinking of going for a Minilogue, need to check more demos. Then maybe trade up for something like the OB-6 next year, but by next year who knows what else will be available, great times :)

If they release a module version, I may need to buy one.

I'm pretty sure they will, given that they did for the Prophet 6.

This is way nicer sounding than the Prophet though. I was always on the fence with that one.

This is the best demo so far imo. Absolutely nails the vintage character people yearn for in older stuff.

Yeah, you'd think so, but that hasn't seemed to happen with the Prophet 12 yet. I figured that people would dump them on eBay in truckloads when the P6 was released (and was sorta hoping to steal a P12 module for cheap), but their resale price hasn't really budged much from what I've seen.

love the sounds of the Prophet 12, was considering changing the Q for one as i think personally it lends itself to that more "fx-ey" type sound

this is one of my favourite demos ever - covers so much ground

back on topic...so does anyone want to buy a kidney? Id say one careful owner but that would just be lies :D

$3,000? Insane.

I'm still on the fence about the sound of the Korg Minilogue, but it does seem like you can get some decent sounds out of it, and for $500 for an analog poly synth with a built-in sequencer - hard to beat.

The Korg Arp Odyssey is really nice, too bad it's going for over $600. If you're looking for an alternative to something like an SH-101 cv/gate mono synth, though, it does seem very good.

insane but its a flagship synthesizer, i dont think you would need many any other synths along with it

I'd get the Jupiter 8 for a few hundred dollars more.
