This summer's cricket promises to be pretty one-sided :D

Hope there are some pommy cricket fans around here to keep me entertained with their "we've got a good chance this time" speeches :)

duh you've been saying that since the mid 1980s :P

Still can't believe Mark Waugh was dropped though .. and for Darren Lehmann! He's 32 years old ffs! Why not bring in an up and comer like Michael Clarke or Simon Katich? grrr :(

I think you may be dissapointed, no one here actually cares about cricket ;)

Mark Waugh's best is past him, they should bring back SLATER i say

They should have let Mark Waugh retire in his home town with his brother. That could have been the least they could do for him after so many years of playing for Australia.

And bringing back Slater?? :conf:

Thats a bit ambitious isn't it? In my opinion Slater has played his final years for Australia.

Just think though when Glen McGraph and Shane Warne retires, Australia will have to rebuild all over again. Its easy to replace batsman like Mark Waugh but its much harder to replace top quality bowlers.

Lets face it guys, lets enjoy this winning period while it still lasts, this could be the end of another era. :)

Sorry, but Australia has been #1 in the cricketing world for so long now that it's difficult to see an end to it .. they said it was all over about 5-6 years ago when Boon, Border, Taylor, Healey, McDermott et al retired, and look where we are now...

Warne and McGrath both have several years ahead of them and there is plenty of young talent waiting in the wings .. lets not forget Brett Lee here, Stuart Macgill.. plenty of bowling talent to terrorise batsmen for many years :)
Philby
hahaha they salvaged a draw against a depleted WA.
lookin forward to this one :)
BRING BACK DEANO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There may be some talent waiting in the wings......but im pretty sure you wont find it in either Stuart McGill or Brett Lee.

McGill has been waiting for his call up to the test side for years, he has played how many tests for Australia? 20? His been playing cricket for 10 years. He is just a bit unfortunate that he started his career alongside probably one of the best leg spin bowlers this decade.

And Brett Lee well he is just absolute . :eyes: The only thing he is good for is pace, not taking wickets. :D

hey numbnuts, I think you'll find he's one of the best bowlers EVER, even way back to the Jurassic periods where leg spinners reigned supreme.

That bloody T-rex with his little arms had the most wickedest wrong-un ANYONE has ever seen! :D

MICHAEL DUDIKOFF?!?!?!!

I though you were dead....

By the way, mad props for American Ninja. Those movies changed my life for I finally learned that yes, white people can be ninjas too.
MichaelDudikoff
Yes my friend, I am well and truly alive.

Glad to hear you were inspired by my body of work.

Doesn't matter if you're black, white or pakistani, you too can master the arts of ninja.

Peace out. :D
