| Good lord you try so, so hard. It just doesn't work anymore. I'm sorry we can't have a normal conversation. |

Yeah, because I don't consider TA a dumping ground to talk about my problems. I have my friends for that. I share the good stuff because it's good and people generally prefer to hear good news. I don't trust you people, so why would I share the most intimate stuff? Are you really complaining that I don't whine about life on here? off. |
You're a full-blown bragger Jenny, and a judgemental bitch to compound it. Cut it how you like. Jay is a dick and he loves to bully others for not having their together, but at least he can get tanked on whiskey and admit there's plenty of in his life. You will always be that annoying girl sat two seats back on the plane who spends the whole flight talking about herself, and everyone in an audible radius is mentally going "Just shut up..."
And no, you don't care what we think. Lolololol, etc. Show a re-run, we've heard it before. |

Damn, this got juicy.
Do any of you actually enjoy your jobs or the thing that pays the rent?
The posts here seem kind of bleak; people just working in things that don't like for money. I own a business (well two technically) and I ing love it. I work ridiculous hours (easily 70+ per week, if not 80+) but I wouldn't swap it for anything. Sure there's times when has gone wrong and you're struggling, and you think, it would be so much easier to just have a job/9-5 but then once you've worked for yourself, the thought of working for someone else just doesn't fly. They'd have to pay me a ing fortune. |

I actually do enjoy my job. Best gig I've ever had. Beats all the other I've done before.
Own boss? Lovely...yet, it brings stress in the sense that it could be gone at a moment's notice.
I work too much.
I love my son.
Do it so he can have everything.
9 to 5 life sucks dicks...but i get that security aspect too.
Can't get ahead, but will always be fed type deal.
I was never a condom guy. |

Generally I enjoy it, although when hits the fan it can be extremely stressful. Mostly it's a very relaxed working environment and my company are not remotely corporate - nobody cares if you come in 15 minutes late (as long as you don't take the piss with it), they'll let you be flexible with hours if you have some personal to attend to, stuff like that. It's also extremely good for my commute - 25 minutes maximum at present, my commuting costs are currently about £400 a year which I will cut to zero if I start cycling. The work-life balance is very good.
The main downside is the salary is average at best. I know that I could push myself and go work for a bigger, more corporate outfit and get paid a lot more but honestly I think it would drive me crazy. I'm really ing terrible with corporate mentality and authority structures, etc. Job applications make me nauseous. Still an idiot rebellious teenager at heart, I suppose.
If we can get a mortgage together and find a decent house by the time I'm 30 I will be pretty satisfied with how my life is progressing. I know people who earn a lot more than me but they have stressful jobs, long commutes and can't save money at the end of it all. |

If you up at a 9 to 5, you get a warning...
You up this way? You gotta do 9 to 5. |
