That's partially what I mean. The rare time I've not been able to miss a birthday or something when I have to work the next day has been absolute terror. Even a couple glasses of wine will make me tried and groggy enough to feel like a zombie at work if I don't drink and go to bed early enough.
I will only do it (go out when I have to work) if I know I'll be working in a specific area, or have a student with me, etc. Basically some insurance that I don't have to be totally "on".

As for me - taking it easy this long wknd - my dog is still not his normal self after his seizures last week. His usual hyper behaviour has been dampened because of the meds. He's progressively becoming more alert so that's a good sign ...but still won't play fetch.
Also still need to plan for my Barcelona trip at the end of July - if any of you have tips/suggestions please PM. |

Putting the finishing touches to Rapid Transit 3 tonight. Not sure if my body has recovered enough from my marathon last month for the requisite 125 minute run to test drive it, though. |

| Haha I rented an apartment once there thinking it would be a nice neighbourhood. In the first 10 mins of my arrival I pushed a hooker when a group of them were harassing me while trying to get food, she fell, screamed something in her native tongue and I got chased by a bunch of Nigerian dudes that popped out of nowhere. Thank god I'm fast as . Did I tell you guys I scored 5 goals in 3 games? |

I was never brave enough to try any hallucinogens (too uptight by nature, which probably just begs for a bad trip), but I had a couple of buddies that swore by shroomz back in the day. They said they never laughed so hard in their lives. Felt like their ribs were broken for the next few days. |
