anthony pappa nubreed 001 is my favorite GU mix of all time! so dark and twisted, just listened to it a few weeks ago and is still epic.

the nubreed offshoot only got 3 or 4 entries to my recollection, not sure why they went down this route of branding either - but this is good news :D

dj is Habischman. not familiar with, iranain apparently.

I've always said Eelke Kleijn would be a solid choice for a GU:NuBreed

I think it would actually be a cool idea to something to the effect of GU: Revisited, where the first generation of GU headliners return to the site of their (in)famous mix compilations to reflect the city's flavor as its changed in the nearly 20 years since some of them recorded there (assuming they, unlike San Francisco, still actually have one).

That is an interesting concept, all though Tony de Vits GU 005 Tokyo would need to be done by someone else .

What makes you say that about San Francisco ?

Along with that concept, I would like to see more Global Underground behind the scenes videos as well

Funny story about GU:Nubreed. Last week, I went into Goodwill to drop of some clothes that I no longer wanted. I went over to look at CD's figuring maybe I would find a couple. And I did exactly that. I bought Radiohead's Kid A and GU:Nubreed Sander Kleinenberg for two dollars. When I got home I looked at the GU CD and realized that the cover was signed by Sander himself. I thought, "who would ever give this away?". I guess I got lucky.
