Alex I think what you said about your sister is an exaggeration. I mean how are we to believe she is good looking without proof?

She said that if any given person were to undergo a full and thorough evaluation that they'd leave with a diagnosis of "something".

My friend and I used to joke about this, and the fact that so many people are walking examples of personality disorders, lol. She, being single, came across a lot of dudes with really unattractive personality flaws and we'd joke "It's the PD" lololol.

I spent almost 2 years with a person with what is supposedly BPD. In hindsight, it's amazing just how disturbed she was, and how much she did during that time. What's also disturbing is that you begin to cope with the crap, think it's all kind of normal and just "part of the deal". Some sort of paranoia is definitely a part of it. I remember her calling me at work, yelling "my std test came positive for this and that, what the have you done??", just to later hear it was "to see if you react by saying sorry, confirming my doubts".

Edit: We met while she was on some sort of meds, and "not depressed", of which she first of course mentioned nothing about. The problems became pretty apparent shortly after she told me about the meds and that she's quitting them.

A few months after parting ways, I started receiving emails from guys she had been with, one asking for "dirt" on her, claiming she is blackmailing him to leave his family for her after they had "an affair". That might fall under 'psycho' more than BPD though.

I don't really care to go searching for this stuff.

Well I'm familiar but no expert; therefore, not very good at articulating all the complexities of it. Honestly a Google search will tell you all you need to know, if you have even a basic understanding of psych/abnormal psych.

Creepy s! :gsmile:

And sonix, the reason why I want her to be seen by someone who deals with psychopaths is because they know to not be manipulated, as psychopaths are masters at manipulation.

My sister isn't a psychopath, but she is very "gifted" at manipulation. She's seen plenty of therapists, out-patient ones, private ones etc, but she manipulates the out of them and then gets bored with them and switches.

I submitted like 30 amendments to various dictionaries to add my sister's name to various definitions of "manipulation". :p

Also Jay, I'll show everyone else pics but you. Don't want no half wop half commie nieces or nephews. :toothless

BPD is the most brutal personality disorder, imo. People with it are some of the most manipulative, attention whoring, needy, unstable people. Very draining in so many ways.
