you have probably seen the threads in music dissc.
i think the fact that tiesto is no.1 dj in the world is a disscrace hes not that good, he was yrs ago but not now, its just a popularity vote nothing to do with how good the DJ is. i could go on for hours about it but i am sure you all know what i would say and where i am coming from.
i would also like to say its good to see armin 5th :) finally he gets some respect. But there is a very sad thing maybe even more so then DJ esto 1st.
MATT HARDWICK FINISHED 59TH that is a disscrace, week in week out he plays some of the best sets around blows tiesto away! if anyone herd his essential mix they would agree, in my view this is just an american chart on who they have actually herd of. |

| its always been a popularity contest really, peopel start botting a dj one year and suprise suprise he becomes number one, i dont think tiesto winning is a suprise to anyone, and i concur with the matt hardwick thing. he has been the best dj all year and pisses on the rest, but hey at least we can be safe in the knowledge we liek dj's because theyre good, and not because theyre "cool" :haha: ;) |

Yes, Tiesto is nowhere near the no1 DJ in the world, but it could have been worse as Dave Pearce had been rising up the charts in the last few years :rolleyes:
Matt Hardwick, disgraceful that he isn't higher. Erik Morillo, disgraceful that he isn't higher. Same goes for Ornadel, Kitikonti and Slam, why are they so low?
Dave Pearce 92, why? Tidy Boys 63, why? Anne Savage, wtf is she doing at 27? Fergie, 21st in the world, in that case I am top 5 material! Lisa Lashes one place behind Morillo, you must be kidding, they aren't in the same league, Lashes isn't even good enough to carry his records. Judge Jules better than Cox, last time I saw Jules he was so bad he ran out of record and had to be saved by a lowly light jockey :D

Its quite stupid cos tiesto has actually had a year!
I don't really listen to him much anymore but he used to be very good (tiesto live @ trance energy ;))
I'm quite pissed off that halliwell, hardwick and bond finished below 30th place.. but who cares anyway its just an opinion vote :rolleyes: |

| Tiesto in my opinion was number one a few years ago, its just difficult to compare trance with progressive etc.. personally I like trance and my number one is Armin closely followed by Paul Van Dyk. Tiesto was my fav DJ for ages but he doesnt play the same style anymore, I wonder if we will ever hear a set from him like Trance Energy 2000, it was the best |

FACT Tiesto is
FACT his productions at the moment are worse
FACT ppl that bumb him usually bumb van dyk too
FACT they usually live accross the atlantic
FACT they catch on late there and so must still be living with him from when he was good
FACT armin does not copy him, he shows him how it should be done
FACT Most people that vote don't know what proper music is
that would probably explain why he is no.1 |
