its bitch cancer. Nothing too serious. localized and i'm just getting a precautionary zap. The kids with blood cancer don't let me play with their blocks. There is a pecking order.

back to jamming, i always wanted to be in a band of musicians that weren't lame and were good enough to do electronic stuff live/

It is pretty hard to find people that like eletronic music that are musicians and not lame. Jamiroquai with more electronic stuff would be cool.

Put it on your bucket list.

And then do it, sooner rather than later.

Anything live is a no go. Live means audience which means attention which means drugs which my doctor has advised against.

Cool stuff man ^^^
Would have liked the bass to match the lead sound at a later point in the track but nicely done!

Thanks chaps!

Not sure what you mean by bass matching up with the lead Evo?

I'd still love to see other peoples stuff on here too. Watching hardware jams in my current Youtube addiction but their search algorithms mean I seem to miss so much of it!

Nice vid mate.

What do you capture your performances with, the audio and the visual?

Your Blufmonkey little video intro at the start - what software did u make it with?

I'd post up live stuff if I knew how to do it - but each time I start reading up I end up mind-ed with all the options

Video is captured with my DSLR, although it's a bit of a crappy one. I need to upgrade. Audio is taken from the master output, I use a freebie called Melda Recorder to capture the live feed. I just hit a note on the keyboard to sync up the audio and visual and edit that out (in Vegas) afterwards.

The intro is created in After Effects. I simply bought a template from the web and a pal of mine rendered it. I don't have after effects OR know how to use it. The audio I did in Cubase afterwards by importing the rendered video and working to that.

No its just a stylistic/arrangement preference, its great the way it is

I meant that the bass notes changed to match the lead, not the actual pattern or timbre or anything
Like in the track below the bassline stays on the same note until after the break, not sure if im making sense lol

P.s is that a vermona something above the arp, what you think of it?
Nice little collection you have there

Ah gotcha. To be honest if I had a Push 2 or something I might have made more clips of complex midi/notes, but as it is I needed to keep it simple for the sake of ease as I was clip launching with hotkeys on my qwerty lol.

That other synth is the new Mono Lancet 15 and it's a monster. Fairly simple, but awesome tone. Easily as good as any Moog bar the Model D. Very simple, but it just has tone.

I threw some Corsten midi into it and just recorded some live tweaking. It's zero processing apart from some delay.
