Hmmmm, not sure about this one. Roland already tried to reissue 303, 808 and 909 hardware in the form of the Aira series.
If these are real then I can't help but wonder what made Roland decide on yet another reissue. Nobody wanted digital hardware? Were the Aira sales too low? Were too many people complaining the lime green stripes were fugly?
Man, if I had forked out the small fortune for the Aira suite only to find Roland were to reissue actual analog hardware a year or two later I'd be royally pissed. |

Hmmm reading up on the rumours they may actually be additions to the Boutique series, which are still digital rather than Analogue.
Oh Roland. |

| Doesnt matter if it sounds good, which it probably wont. |

The Aira and Boutique stuff does sound good.
What they're doing is cashing in on one circuit board they've designed. All the Aira stuff and all the Boutique stuff is the same inside.
It's just a cash cow.

| Uh yea... the Aira tb3 doesnt sound nearly half as good as a tb303. |

$200 vs $2000
As a $200 desktop bass box it sounds good. To me at least.
There're plenty of other things wrong with it though. |

| I mean it would cost probably about 1.5x street price of this new unit coming with inflation if you were to compare when they were actually being sold. To each their own ofcourse. |

Well in 1982 they were about $400, which adjusted for inflation is nearly $1000 now.
But of course they do sound better, and gear has become much cheaper over time.
I did have a TT303 which really does sound close enough to make buying a real 303 a bit stupid, but collectors are die hards. |

| I forgot to include buttplug cost-reducing algorithms in my equation. |

It was implied.
It's always implied. |
