Yep. But given that the Official Whitehouse Climate Change and LGBT websites disappeared at noon yesterday, at least some of his minions are hard at work on his promises.
And in fairness he has already done one thing: he instantly made it $500 more expensive for first time house buyers by canceling the low income insurance premium credit.
MAGA! |
Those were articles, not websites. Nothing was removed, its a whole new website, blank until the trump administration fills it. Obama's website is archived at https://obamawhitehouse.archives.gov/
Same thing happened with the Bush website https://georgewbush-whitehouse.archives.gov/ |

Of course it is, but Bush didn't have a climate change site. You think trump will? :haha: |

While it not may be an immediate attack, that climate change site aint coming back under Trump and people who believe in climate change aren't exactly elated at this news. Do bear in mind as each administration tkaes over the whitehouse they keep certain things and remove others, just as bush did before, and clinton before that (albeit a much less faceted version). Trump has kept some things but not others, and the latter included climate change and the LGBT sites. Who knows what he'll replace them with with but I seriously doubt those two subjects are going to get much love.
One other thing likely to go is the whitehouse petition site, especially as the first petition of his administration is:
https://petitions.whitehouse.gov/pe...ause-compliance
It's reached the required 100,000 signatures for consideration in under 24 hours. It runs until feb 19th and they are expecting 10,000,000 by then and possibly the largest petition in the program's history. |

ing sing it, brother. I'm getting fed up of the exact same thing here with Brexit. These news websites have to generate traffic, so the slightest comment by some deputy advisor to a nobody minister in Latvia gets made into a front-page soundbite. The news cycle is just a constant cavalcade of non-stories and speculation that people with an existing agenda leap on immediately. I didn't want Brexit to happen but I'm growing tired of people sniping at the government for every perceived fault in the immensely difficult and complex task of trying to execute it. |

| I'm generally sick of anyone who feels passionate about hating the other side. The confirmation hearings were a joke, the Democrats didn't actually question anybody, they just tried to score sound-bytes to rile up their own side. It seems that's all politics is these days, both sides trying to make the other side look bad on the nightly news (which eats it all up); no one trying to actually compromise anymore. |

| oh now you're trolling . idgaf about politics it's over. I deleted all my politics bookmarks and apps and subscriptions. my work is done . meanwhile u will still be on here 7 years and 6 months later talking about how trump is an illegitimate fool and isn't a good president . but that will all be trolling too I guess . u r exerting way too much energy on that U have no control over. |

I'm actually perplexed/fascinated by Brexit and living here in the states, it's really difficult to get a proper sense of the feeling on the ground and the true dynamics of what's happening.
I can't get a grasp on whether it's going to actually be a good thing and control rampant, unfettered immigration (which as it seems was the largest reason for the exit vote) or a bad thing (as it will devastate trade and Britain's trade position, not to mention, possibly give an option for scotland to leave the union).
The part I'm concerned about is I keep hearing that people didn't really understand what they were voting for but now we're tied to the hard Brexit on principle. i.e. there was a vote and now stick to it, regardless if there's since been a shift in popularity, or the people at forefront of the vote are now little to do with it, or that people actually now understand the ramifications where they didn't before. |
