Still alive I'm afraid.

For sure the time social media kicked in hard, helped boards like TA get pushed aside.

Ya... some pretty epics battles took place here. :P

times change and life gets in the way i guess.

you know to be honest, i always wanted to party with a lot of you guys. i joined here when i was just a few under years under the legal age. ive had the pleasure of meeting a few TAs over the years though.

this site has expanded my knowledge of EDM significantly, there's some really knowledgeable people here and id hate to say it but TA was a big part of my growing up. i always enjoyed reading the pre and post show reviews. in a way i lived vicariously through a lot of your posts and was able to keep up with things that way.

sadly as i got older a lot of TOTAs i think have moved on from the scene (i could be wrong) and i never got a chance to share a drink with them or party as much as id like to.

and now i find myself getting too old (read: lazy) to go out DT anymore aside from a few events but i don't see any roll call threads for them.

So this board is pretty dead now; obviously the kids don't like the 2001 style vBulletin experience as much as we did back then. Is there any decent place on the web to find like-minded trance fans in the Toronto area? I may be old but still like to let loose once in awhile... I know there's a general EDM Meetup group but even that is relatively dead.

mostly facebook groups but I am not into that style.. I like the 2001 better :tongue3

you wanna meet up ? let's MEET UP :whip::whip::whip::whip::whip::whip:

It's cool to see alot of the people here still posting in this thread.

Some pretty epic moments in TA. I cant believe how quickly the years have gone by

I don't know what bluecloud is going on about. Great memories here on TA through the flame wars, roll calls, ayce sushi, meet ups, WTF/FTW parties, etc...

Too bad we all get old and get preoccupied with life. Although I don't post as much, I do find myself still coming back here to lurk every few months. I have not been to a party in probably 5 years now :( Maybe it's time for one.

Still here as well. Rarely come in here but I'm at least on TA (Music Discussion) every second day. Oddly enough, I'm busier than ever in my personal life with no real time to party yet I'm listening to more contemporary dance music than I think I ever did. Just goes to show.

Anyone heard from Nick T?

Any word on who's playing the closing party?

Do you know what the Sunday hours are? I want to go for Manzone & Strong but I have a bridal shower that day.

I've heard through the grapevine that Kenny Glasgow, Matt C, Mark Oliver, Manzone & Strong + more are playing the closing but it's only regular sunday hours (2am-11am)

Carlo Lio is playing 5am-8am this coming Sunday so I would imagine that M&S are playing the same slot on the 23rd.
