quit my job. i can't see too many days topping that until Retirement Friday. now, just to work out what to do with this ridiculous, You Work erection.

Congrats PKC! What's the new gig all about? (I don't even know what your old gig was).
My weekend off. Prob heading north today to visit my friend at her trailer. Then maybe pick up a shift at my other job tomorrow if they call.
Payday too, and nothing to spend money on! Save it for the annual pilgrimage to Detroit next weekend I guess. :) |

thanks guys! yeah, an upward move but not a huge, impressive one or anything. the environment + job description though are a million times better; i had contract work in the same role at the end of last year and my drug/alcohol usage halved overnight.
so im gonna celebrate those positives by...doubling my drug and alcohol usage for two weeks. it's only fair.
(i used to chase scumbags who owed the govt $$, now i investigate and determine disputes between parties subject to govt legislation.) |

Today we're bidding farewell to the Portuguese professor I shared my office with for the last month or so, and it'll be the midterm speech of the four undergrads I'm advising. I know it doesn't sound like much, but it's something of a record in the department, and I'm so proud of these girls, they're doing an awesome job :)

Upstairs condo had their dishwasher leak and it ed up my laminate floor. Floor is no longer manufactured. Condo Corporation will cover repair costs but I have to pay to have my bedrooms done too...which I'll probably do since I want all rooms matching. Fun times.
Also busy getting another TL DJ contest sorted... |

| Did we go back in time to 105? :D Long, long ass weekend coming up for me due to a metric -ton of totally unanticipated family drama. To say I am dreading it doesn't even begin to do it justice. Then the wife has surgery next week on top of it all. :( |
