Isn't that Charlie May in the middle? Would've been a travesty to leave him out of a performance like this.

The intro is a bit awkward, and I'm generally not a fan of classical musicians having to play loops from a computer over and over again. I think it pays off in the end, however, when the strings get to play those high pitched synth washes from the original over the top.

yes thats charlie. the beginning was according to sasha a homage type thing to Steve Reich.

I have to say, when the first synth riff from Xpander came in about five minutes in, all the hairs on my arms stood on end.

Okay. First four minutes is just a bunch of bored-looking classical musicians and someone constantly fumbling with the melody. After that it gets decent.
