diferences between tiesto, corsten, and armin....whatever you think......

i've been discussing with a couple of friends the diferences between this 3 massive dutch dj's, and well i think there's lot of ways to describe their differences and lots of similar stuff. Live sessions, and studio session....
what do you think??? |

Armin is a great guy, Ferry is a professional and Tiesto has been there on the right time at the right place. Armin should focus more on producing (so he can play his own productions_, Ferry should spin a bit more (he produces quality stuff but doesnt have the chance to play it) and Tiesto should stop changing styles (he was a hardcore producer, then started with trance and now does progressive).
Maybe time they all start a All-star DJ Team? :) |

These 3 guys use to be my favorite producers back in the day when they actually put out stuff. I rank em:
1. Ferry
2. Tiesto
3. Armin
I miss all those collaberations; Gouryella, Vimana, Alibi, Major League, etc. :sadgreen: |

I argee. I'd like to see him produce some good quality tunes like he can and not these remix's he's been putting out. I sure he enjoys travelling all over but taking a few months off and then hit up the studio would be pretty sweet, IMO of course ;)
As for Armin, he needs to come to Western Canada again so I can see him. His productions are always mint and I like his style as a Dj. Same could be said for Ferry. |

Definately, I mean Gatex, wtf was he thinking. One day he's playing Prog, next day he's playing hard trance. I like diversity and all, but some continuity would be appreciated. |

Hmm actually talking about the styles of these 3 would be hard but listening you can tell them apart in a flash. I agree tiesto should stick to his older styles. A ferry/armin team all i can say is MMMMmmmm
Jolz. Armin is mixing great now but he hasnt thrown out all that much, what he has let loose have been great though. As for corsten i agree get him on those decks a bit more :) BtW you heard Corsten Mix of Kathy's song TUNE!!!!! |

| It looks like there are only a few people around here that like the 'new' Tiësto and I'm one of them. I rather listen to a new Tiësto set than to a new Armin set. Don't get me wrong: all three guys are great IMO!!! Armin plays more commercial/uplifting sets (which is great in clubs!) whereas Tiësto does a more 'balanced' set with different styles in it. I like his way of building up and his track selection better than Armin's or Ferry's. Oh yeah, Ferry... he should stick with producing and do a set every once and a while. He's much better on producing than on DJ'ing :D |
