Here are my rankings:
  1. NE Patriots: Yes, they'll win the superbowl. Not just because Brady is still the MVP, but because players like Gronk let him age more gracefully. And, because Gisele probably has some sort of immortality juice that he shares with him so they'll become the first American royal family, or something.

I'm Brazilian. I know. It's been our plan all along.
  2. Minn Vikings: The other best path to immortality? Cryogenics. Now, go look at Minnesota on the map. Just do it. See anything at all there? No, just ice. Case Keenum is probably a player from the 18th century, still going strong. He's doing his best short of poaching Gisele.
  3. Phil Eagles: Come to think of it, there has got to be someone whose actual name really is "Phil Eagles". I hope they never move out of Pennsylvania, or his name will look really silly.
  4. Pittsburgh Steelers: That's how it works. The Eagles soar high, and the Steelers hurl metal rods at them. It's pretty much hit or miss and, because Gisele has never been Miss or anything because she knew better, she can't help them here.
  5. Atlanta Falcons: Why are there so many goddamn birds on the NFL? I firmly suspect Stu is the owner, so don't colour me surprise if the Seahawks suddenly enter the playoffs as a surprise challenger. Or the Cardinals. Or the Hawaii Cockatoos.
  6. Jax Jaguars:
  7. NO Saints: Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, Neil DeGrasse Tyson, and that blue-eyed model probably have something to do with this. But, as we know, Gisele is a goddess and Tom Brady is an immortal walking amongst men, so the NO Saints have no hope, really.
  8. Tennessee Titans: I like the cartoon. They're fun.

Lira there are two things I like about your takes, they’re nicely formatted and your conviction. Contrary to the name most of football is played in the air so birds are only natural. Besides “Handball” doesn’t sound right. I assume Brazilians are by default Pats fans because of the Gisele connection.

I thought The Kennedys were always considered the first American royal family?

I stand corrected. This century's first American royal family then? Or would the Obamas count?

As a matter of fact, yes. Until very recently, the Green Bay Packers were the most popular team because of their colours, but we couldn't set Gisele up with Aaron Rodgers, so we're Pats country now :toothless

It's not our fault, really. We can't all play icestick, so we have to make do with these games :(

You do know hockey is played indoors, right?

Actually, I didn't. I thought it was just the fancy stadiums that had roofs. I've only watched one match in its entirety, and it was outdoors. Anyway, even if we all played indoors, our fridges here aren't large enough for that anyway :p

I've gone to ice rinks quite a few times (all of them here in Brazil), but I've never seen a hockey puck. Or a stick. Or a player. Hell, I probably thought the puck was a ball well into my twenties!
Zoso
When in motion, no one has every really seen a hockey puck. :toothless

Trust me, you missed absolutely nothing and your life is richer for never having lost 60 minutes of your life to that abysmal "game".
