You would be surprise on how popular NFL is here in Brazil. Patriots have so many Brazilian fans, that they decided to create a Twitter account in Portuguese. I think it’s the first NFL team that payed attention on us 😎.

yeah i noticed when the patriots played the Oakland raiders in mexico city a significant amount of the fans were cheering for the patriots.
which was odd considering trump is a fan as well...

I always assumed he either liked the Buffalo Bills until he was snubbed or himself. If he really is a Pats fan, who knew Trump and Sanders had so much more in common? :p

I'm not sure where they got their numbers from, but Patriotas also claim to be the Patriots' largest official fan club in the world. Given the Portuguese language account, I have no reason to doubt that's true.
As a matter of fact, I've just found out most cinemas here in Brasília broadcast the Super Bowl live for 18 U$. The concept of watching the NFL here in a movie theatre is so bizarre I'm tempted to give it a go. It's too weird an opportunity to pass up :D
