Wow, that was an intense ride. Baby was born last night at 42 weeks.
Mommy and baby have had to stay for 36 hours of monitoring. She started running a temp and they suspected an infection.
He's happy and healthy though. Latching on like a champ. I'm gutted I can't be with them, but at least I get to prep the flat and recharge the battery. I was absolutely knackered by the end of it all.
Best day of my life, no doubt. He's the cutest thing ever (and big - 9.9 pounds!). I can't wait to pick them up and bring them home :) |
