man these kinda pics bring back memories ..
i think this party supported a sick set by Kenny Ken and MC Fearless.. ahh the days ..
man when was the last time we had a trance party in TO with over 10,000+ packed in one room ? (and i don't mean packed like Guv)..
btw. does anybody remember the first time Oakie played in TOronto .. ? i think it was back at a DOSE party held at the Automotive building in the CNE .. i think CArl Cox also played at same time.. again it's hard to remember..

Yeah I was there for that one. But wasn't it at the BLC? There were 3 rooms and it was packed. It was also my first party at the BLC and it was a DOSE party. One of the best nights ever! |

was this the connected party with kenny ken, dj hype, dave ralph, and a serious set of funky breaks at the end of the night by dmonic? if so, then it was for sure at the BLC. it was a fun night, but oakenfold sucked anus (what a surprise!) until the last half hour of his set (dropping dumonde - tomorrow definately helped!)
i am pretty sure that he played a year earlier at a love party, but i don't remember if that was his first time in toronto. anyone else remember? |
