I grabbed that Lemon8 recently. I wonder, though, what is the deal with it being a "re-release" on Basic Beat (which I don't believe is really active anymore?) The cat. no. BBBED30 presumably is for Basic Beat plus its original Bedrock cat. no BED 30. I expected the original release to be amongst the many other Bedrock releases up on Beatport.
Also wtf is the point of a re-release of the original mix of Deep Progress only, considering it was originally released on a CD EP and on a 12" (along w/ "The Voice") on Pschent back in '99 and with a bunch of remixes on Avantgarde in '00-'01? Although apparently that version now up on Beatport is 12:20 whereas the older releases listed on discogs are shorter.
Did you get it off Beatport? I assume it must be the old original mix. |

Not sure how it got released on Basic Beat, but I was happy to find this track finally due to an error on this release which made me think the track was Fitalic - Synchronic.

About the Raff n Freddy track, I plan on making a beatport purchase soon and will let you know how the versions differ. I also noticed the runtime is longer too. |

The 12 minute version I picked up has an intro and outro now. The older versions could have edited it out back in the day or could've been added on this release, who knows.
I would say it's the definitive version though. |

There's a different(?) release up on junodownload that has the 12min version and a 2018 remix by Raffen, on Toto Recordings (Manuscript being its parent label). I'm looking to ask Vincent Inc about what is the dealio here.

A lot of older releases on Beatport that were uploaded in the mid 2000s are absolute garbage quality for whatever reason. |

Pretty nice lineup of names on this EP, but the PFM and Yum Yum remixes are the standouts for me. |
